Fresh Peach Pie

Ingredients:

1 1/2 Cups sugar

3 Cups water

2 Tablespoons cornstarch

1 small cook and serve lemon pie filling

Fresh, ripe peaches

1 baked pie crust

whipped cream


     Directions:     In a sauce pan combine sugar, water, cornstarch, and lemon pudding mix.  Cook and stir until thick and bubbly.  Remove from heat and allow to cool.  Peal and slice peaches.  Arange a layer of peaches in pie crust.  Cover with a layer of filling.  Continue layers to fill pie crust.  Cool pie before serving.  Serve with real whipped cream.  Makes 8 servings.
